New Gallery opening soon

Carolina Pottery Creations was Started over 6 years ago as a studio and sales space for three generations of family potters in an on site private studio, and is still family owned and operated. Carolina Pottery Creations has combined the knowledge and expertize of five of Lumberton's most accomplished craftspeople in a unique, relaxing atmosphere. Our focus is on representing local and regional fine craft, with an additional emphasis on outstanding craftsmanship found throughout North Carolina.  The gallery will be a central hub of activity for the resident potters whom can often be found sharing and exchanging ideas, discussing collaborations, successes or challenges with their work.

  There are five artist in this gallery and all come from different backgrounds with different schools of pottery. Bio's of artist's will be posted in the coming weeks. The gallery will mainly sell and exhibit pottery from both hand built and wheel thrown methods, but will in the future display, host and sponsor Juried exhibitions and other events such as pottery demonstrations. Join us this spring to preview the art, enjoy the new gallery space, and view artists in the pottery studio

   The gallery will display and sell the collective works of all five artist in the gallery which range from wheel thrown, hand built, thrown and altered, and sculpted works. Works will include carved and pierced pottery, sculptured pottery, hand built wall plaques, wall sconces, traditional wheel thrown pieces and much more. All of the work we sell is handmade in North Carolina by small studio artists.  


   The Grand opening and Open House will be May 1st, 2012 at 3435 Lacky street in Lumberton, North Carolina. We will be hosting a wine and cheese party and everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the fun, food and good conversation.
