Picture Since being injured over 2 1/2 years ago and several surgeries its been hard for me to help and keep up around the Studio and Gallery. I have been keeping up with the web sites and paper work and Susan has been doing all the hard work and lifting. My injuries keep me at bay and from really enjoying pottery like I would like to. So I have been doing the paperwork and watching Susan in the studio and living vicariously through her. So here it goes....  Its been a couple of month since the last post and months of Gallery work, shows, festivals, events and neglect on our site here at CPC. We have just put a few new pieces up and will be posting about 60 more new pieces in the coming days. We are still putting all our time into the Gallery and have again neglected our site and have just got around to updating it. We are now keeping up with 3 web sites for our business and trying to keep up with things at the gallery. We have fired new pottery this week and have about 60 new pieces to add to our site and have a kiln that is firing right now and will be unloaded sometime tomorrow. So we will have even more pieces to add both hand built and wheel thrown. Loads of work and no time to spread out between the Gallery and the sites. Well always better late than never. Keep checking back for new works posted. Remember that work that is available on our site is also available in our Gallery.

An update on the new happenings at our Gallery location. We have many new students at the Gallery studio. Susan has been working with students 4 to 5 times a week and is signing up new students all the time. If interested in classes check out our workshop and class section of our site for complete information. We have had a Fine Art Photography Show for artist, Sarah Brown. Sarah is a local artist who moved here from Wilmington, NC some years ago and is now a resident of Pembroke, NC. Come by and see her Limited Edition Prints on exhibit now. Fine Art Photographer Richard Mathis is also still on exhibit as well with the Drowning Creek Series Collection. Richard Mathis is a local Robeson county artist and has been selected to be featured in The "Art Galleries and Artist of the South.  Call (910) 739-3560 for more information.

Also we will be doing a Ferric firing & Horse hair firing to replace the pieces sold at the Cowboy Up Horse Show in Lumberton on Sept 28-30 and to get ready for the coming horse shows. So keep looking for new alternative fired pieces and thanks for stopping by and checking us out. Hope to see you here or in our Gallery,
